We weren't exactly prepared to get wet, but that didn't stop little Sami from jumping right in. Unfortunately, just as soon as she joined in on the spray pad action, some older kids who were playing with the water guns just blasted her by accident and she was soaked with cold water. The shock of it all brought a quick end to the water fun, but then it was on to the swings...

At the Park
Our little Sam had been sick with fever and croup...it had been a rough week for us all. But finally the day came where it was time to get some fresh air and a little excercise. And to make everything even better, we were blessed with clear skies and warm sun!
The swing always comes first!
On to tackle the big toy!
Made it to the top!
Tunnel Time!
Here I come!
Wahoo!
Who's brave enough to challenge my wicked curve ball?
Rounding third base...going the wrong way, but that's ok.

Getting Wet!
It was a rare occasion, by Seattle weather standards at least, with temperatures warm enough for shorts, tanks, and garden hoses. Samantha loves getting splashed with cold water and every time we play in the back yeard, even when it is cold, if there is water running, she wants to get right in and get wet.
Oh goodie! Mom is turning on the water!
Cold water...I love this!
This one is my favorite! Pure joy!

Helping Herself to the Syrup
I thought for sure this big bottle of syrup that Sami pulled out of the pantry was going to be too heavy for her to actally get any out... boy was I wrong. She was determined and relentless until she achieved what she set out to achieve.
Step One: Find a comfy place to sit
Step 2: Open lid
Step 3: Conduct a taste test to determine if desireable to proceed
Step 5: Enjoy tasty goodness
Step 6: Revel in victory. Oh Yeah!
It's A Boy!
The day we had been looking forward to had finally arrived. It was May 4th, the day of our 20 week ultrasound...the day that would answer the big question...is it a girl or a boy. So I have to admit that this time I was wrong. All along I had a feeling it was a girl, but my feelings misled me and Andrew was right. We will be having a little boy!! We are both delighted and looking forward to welcoming baby Jack into our family.
